A workshop was conducted at Lotus Valley School Noida,on 22nd & 23rd of may 2017. An eminent political analyst Mr.Madan Lal Shahni was the resource person.
He advocated changes in the approaches to teaching. It was also suggested that the shift from mere imparting of information to involvement in debate and discussion would keep both learners and teachers alive to social realities.
The key points of workshop were:-
Social Science in the light of NCF 2005 and position papers NCERT.
Interdisciplinary Approach in Teaching SocialScience.
Drafting test items.
Ms. Payal & Ms.Smruti witnessed this workshop and found it very edifying and informative.
