Samsara- the World Academy organized a workshop for the mothers, senior girls students and female staff of the school on "Awareness About Breast Cancer And Cervical Cancer", on Saturday, 22nd April, 2017. The workshop was conducted by Dr. Pawan Gupta, The renowned Oncologist from Jaypee Hospital, Noida.
Dr. Gupta briefed the gathering about the causes and preventions of the cervical and breast cancer. He also demonstrated the methods to self examine breast cancer.
The workshop was undoubtedly very informative and educative , which clarified many doubts and mis-beliefs about the disease. A new insight was given in the form of " 3 Fingers,3 minutes, once in thirty days." And the event culminated with a positive note.
