United Nations started the movement World Environment Day on 5 June , 1974  for encouraging worldwide awareness and action to protect our environment. This event has grown to become a global platform for public outreach that is widely celebrated all across the globe. 

The students and teachers of class XIIth from Samsara The World Academy , contributed to the cause and participated in the plantation drive by planting saplings in the service lane in and around their school premises. 

The Group Captain Anil Pandey guided them all and extended his helping hand in supporting the noble cause.  

The students today fully understand the importance of the trees and were enthusiastically aware about the need and urgency of growing more and more trees for  protection from scorching heat and rising pollution which will only happen when  the  environment is completely protected.

The Principal, Captain Praveen Roy appreciated the initiative taken by the young Samsarians.
