Our English Facilitator Ms.Reema Sharma attended an online workshop on 'ICT in English Language Teaching' conducted by CBSE, CoE, Noida, on 3rd Oct, 2020.

The resource person was Ms.Swapna Nair, Principal, Arwachin International School.She defined about ICT (Integrated Computer Technology) which refers to technologies that provide access to information through telecommunication but focuses primarily on communication technologies.

She discussed various characteristics of ICT, advantages and disadvantages of it. She mentioned some free virtual classroom tools for English and some mobile apps. It includes the internet, wireless networks, cellphone and other communication mediums used in language learning.

The ICT workshop provided an array of powerful tools that may help in transforming the present isolated teacher - centered and text bound classroom into rich, student- focused interactive knowledge environment.
