Our facilitator Ms. Pramila Panda, PGT, Physics, attended an online Capacity Building Programme on “Assessment in Physics” conducted by CBSE, Centre of Excellence on 21st Sep, 2020.
The resource person was Dr.Ved Kumar Mishra, Principal, DPS, Bareilly, UP. He threw light on the importance of assessment and discussed at length about different types of assessments like- diagnostic, formative, interim & benchmark assessment, summative assessment etc.He also said that the assessment is to increase the confidence and knowledge of the student but not to intimidate or demoralise students.
The participants were able to enhance their skills and clarified their doubts at the end of the training programme.
