Samsara – The World Academy observed National Sports Day on 29th August 2026 with an Inter-Class Basketball Competition for Classes IX–XII.
The competition brought students onto the court for a series of energetic matches where they applied their basketball skills, coordinated with their teams and experienced the challenge of competitive play. The activity also reinforced the importance of regular participation in sports as part of an active and balanced school life.
Observed on the birth anniversary of legendary hockey player Major Dhyan Chand, National Sports Day gave students an opportunity to recognise the contribution of sports to individual growth and appreciate the lessons learned through participation, practice and fair play.
The celebration concluded with a renewed appreciation for sports as an essential part of school life, encouraging students to stay active and continue developing their abilities both on and off the court.
