Grade I students of Samsara – The World Academy presented a special assembly on 25 August 2026 to celebrate Raksha Bandhan and understand the significance of the bond shared between siblings.
Through a lively rhyme, thoughtful messages and interesting facts, the young learners shared the traditions associated with the festival. They also narrated the story of Lord Krishna and Draupadi, highlighting the enduring values of care, respect and standing by one another. A colourful dance presentation added a festive touch to the occasion.
Principal Dr. Shalini Prasad appreciated the students for presenting the assembly with confidence and encouraged them to carry the spirit of Raksha Bandhan beyond the celebration by valuing and caring for the relationships in their lives.
