" The duty of an educator is not only to educate students but also the parents, who are a strong link between a child and a teacher. Keeping this thought in mind Samsara-The World Academy organised a workshop on 'Adolescent and Parent Relationship' on 8th, January, 2020.
Our resource persons Ms. Megha Sarin (Clinical Psychologist) and Ms. Priyam Kumar (Counsellor Psychologist & Expressive Art Therapist) who are practicing in Delhi NCR, took the session.
They emphasised on the following strategies to develop a strong bonding between parents and children.
• To foster cooperation and mutual understanding.
• To develop empathy.
• To acknowledge their feeling and strength.
• To give children an opportunity to talk.
The workshop was very interactive and it ended with question and answer session where all the queries were answered satisfactorily.
