Workshop on ' Life Skills' was attended by Dr. Kumud Sharma, Ms Shelly Bhatia, Ms Karamjeet Kaur and Ms Piyali Choudhary on 3 August 2019 organised by K C International School, Jalpura, Sector -1 Greater Noida.
The resource person was Ms Anita Dutta who explained the facilitators learned about 10 traits of lifeskills which are recognized by WHO to deal with demands and challenges of everyday living such as empathy, decision making, compassion, tolerance and social and interpersonal skills, etc.
The resource person discussed various examples related to social or interpersonal skills. She advised the teachers as to how they can motivate the students to develop emotional skills and cognitive or thinking skills. It was overall an enriching experience.
