Samsara – The World Academy celebrated Teachers' Day on 5 September 2026, recognising the contribution of teachers and the important role they play in students' lives.
The day began with a special morning assembly presented by students of Grades III and IV, featuring the daily news and an opening reflection. Students and faculty paid floral tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, followed by a speech by a Grade IV student highlighting his contribution to education and the significance of Teachers' Day.
The celebrations continued with a musical presentation by Grade III and a dance performance by Grade IV, through which students expressed their appreciation for their teachers. Small tokens of appreciation and refreshments were also shared as part of the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Dr. Shalini Prasad acknowledged the efforts of the school's educators and thanked them for the commitment they bring to their classrooms and students each day.
The celebration offered students an opportunity to express their gratitude while recognising the guidance, encouragement and everyday efforts of the teachers who are an integral part of their school journey.
