On 29th September 2024, Samsara The World Academy conducted a comprehensive earthquake mock drill for all its students to promote preparedness and awareness. The drill aimed to ensure that students are equipped with essential safety skills during such unpredictable natural disasters.
The following guidelines were shared with the students to follow during the drill:
• Drop, cover, and hold on.
• Stay away from windows and doors.
• Evacuate the building if necessary.
• Avoid standing near hazardous materials.
At the sound of the hooter, students quickly and efficiently sprang into action. Under the close supervision of their teachers, they maintained the “Drop, Cover, and Hold On” position for about a minute. Teachers ensured that everyone adhered to the safety protocols, verifying that procedures were followed correctly.
The mock drill successfully reinforced the  importance of emergency preparedness, reflecting the school's ongoing commitment to safety and learning.
