Ms. Jyoti Kulshreshtha and Ms. Reema Sharma attended a workshop on "Gender Sensitivity" on 25th August 2017. The workshop was conducted by The Centre Of Excellence, CBSE. Many educators across different schools of NCR participated in the interactive session. The resource persons Ms. Neera and Ms. Jai Kumar Singh enlightened the facilitators about gender issues like gender equality, gender roles and stereotypes, gender discrimination. The capacity building workshop aimed to build attitudes and behaviours amongst teachers who create an classroom environment in which girls and boys feel respected, safe and encouraged to share their views. This will help the teachers to ensure the equitable participation of the students in the class room.
