On the occasion of Baisakhi ,the students of class xii conducted a special assembly on 13th April’2018 as to mark the celebration of the festival with great pomp and show. The twelthies introduced the audience about the significance of the festival which is celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm.
The students presented a skit showing the establishment of Khalsa Pant ‘ by Guru Gobind Singh JI and his favourite disciples known as’ Panch Pyare’ giving the message of love and sacrifice that the supreme service to the almighty is to serve the mankind and spread humanity.
The girls dressed in colourful Punjabi attire performed energetically and rhythmically on the beats of Gidda and brought the flavour of Punjab on the stage.
Head Girl, Kanika Sharma brought the divine and spiritual touch in the environment with her melodious and soothing voice by singing Guruvani.
The principal Capt.Praveen Roy, applauded the efforts of the students and said that it is the need of the hour that we should follow the teachings of Guru Gobind Singhji and respect our gurus and mentors as they are the one who show us the correct way of living and lead us to the path of enlightenment.
