'Inter House Activity :Sanskrit Shloka Uchharan'

The rich heritage and culture of Indian civilization is well preserved in the Vedas , Upnishads and Shastras written in God's own language' Dev - Bhasha' Sanskrit.
When the whole world derives inspiration from Valmiki, Vyasa, Kalidasa, Banana, Bhasa etc, our children should be provided with the opportunity to dabble in the beauty of this language. It was with this thought that Samsara- The World Academy conducted an Inter House activity of Sanskrit Shloka Uchharan on 18 May, 2018 for the students of classes 6 to 8.
Sanskrit teacher Ms Rashmi Saxena highlighted that the glorious past of our Indian Culture is hidden in Sanskrit literature as it is the oldest language spoken and written by any civilization in the world and to learn about our magnificent past we must have a knowledge of Sanskrit . Sanskrit literature is amongst the most enchanting literatures of the world.
The participants from all the houses read out the Shlokas and explained their meanings also to the audience.
The Samsarians- in red from Shakespeare house walked away with the first prize for their team presentation.
The judgement was well applauded by the audience. It was an enriching experience for all our students.
