'Independence Day Celebrations in Samsara'

On the occasion of 71st Independence Day, Samsara the World Academy kept its tradition alive by organizing the cultural event on Tuesday, 15th August 2017, to pay homage to our forefathers and soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country.
The whole school was beautifully decorated with the colours of "The Tiranga". The spirits of Patriotism could be felt in the environment. The Chief Guest of the function was Nayak Subedar Mr. Baleshwar Nagar Ji, who served the Indian Army in 1962, 1965 and 1971 wars. The function started with hoisting of the National Flag and singing of National Anthem. It was followed by the presentation of different songs which highlighted the valour and bravery of numerous freedom fighters. After their mesmerizing performance, our students Rudra Pratap Singh and Sanu Singh presented speech on "India of 2013" and "India's Independence" respectively.
The grand finale was a dance drama which beautifully portrayed that Tiranga is the symbol of National Pride and Honour and we must always respect it. Mr. Baleshwar Nagar also enlightened the students about their duties and responsibilities towards the nation.
The Principal Capt. Praveen Roy congratulated everyone on the occasion and administrated the pledge to keep the country clean and green and make it corruption and terrorism free by 2022.
The function filled everybody's heart with a sense of honour, pride and love for the country and its soldiers. The Independence Day Celebrations was memorable and outstanding.
