“Bitterness is like cancer. It eats upon the host. But anger is like fire. It burns it all clean”.

To deter students’ aggressive behavior , a workshop for students of classes 7th,8th and 9th was organized at Samsara campus on 5thDecember, 2016  The resource person Dr. Megha Sarin discussed  various forms, causes and consequences of aggression amongst students. The purpose of the workshop was :

·         To increase awareness of different types of aggression.

·         Types of aggression.

·         Risk factors involved.

·         Influence of peer pressure on students’ behavior.

·         To develop strategies that will prevent aggression.

Dr. Sarin engaged the participants in a series of activities like role play, quiz, group discussion etc. The session ended with question answer session. It was indeed a fruitful and interactive session for the learners  as it taught them the importance of assertiveness.
