Our mission of nation building through a transmission of healthy civic responsibility of obedience and command; takes us beyond a reason to be happy. The existence of a student council body which is an elected one, by the pupils themselves; is making them move with the contemporary times to face this competitive world.
Nominations of student council were listed out where students introduced themselves with their party manifesto and symbols for going to the school polls. A free campaign was a delight amongst the young electorate and the students who voiced so democratically. Then came the polling day through electronic machine on 16th July, 2016. A strong school base in acquiring leadership qualities will take them where they wish to be.
Finally, the morning of 11th August; a cloudy sky and a cool breeze was a memorable one. The event was "Investiture Ceremony" which was a point of culmination of the entire process of a new Student Council coming into action.

The Principal, Capt. Praveen Roy, read out the oath which the elected body repeated after her. The council members expressed their vow in fulfilling their respective duties with "sincerity" to their student fraternity and "loyalty" to the alma-mater to prove their leadership quality.
The programme started with the outgoing Captain of the school for the year 2015-16, Aditya Vikran Singh handing over the school banner to the present Captain Nethra Guher. The moment brought pride to all of us, as a girl was elected to be the School Head! Similarly, leaders of all four houses with their House-Captains outgoing and the ones taking over, held the banner high. The ceremonial event included the pinning of scholar badges as well. Leadership qualities are in-born and we could see it in their eyes and faces!
