Earth Day, an international event which is celebrated on 22 April every year around the world to pledge support for environmental protection. As a step towards inspiring, educating and motivating children to act, Samsara The World Academy conducted a special assembly to commemorate Earth Day. 

Foundational Stage students (Nursery to Grade 2) enthusiastically participated in fun-filled activities in which they learnt the importance of the 'Earth Day' and the need to preserve and conserve the self-sustaining planet.

The 'Earth Day' celebration gave a chance to students to express our gratitude to mother nature through actions and words. The senior students talked about various measures to be practiced on preserving our Mother Earth.

The Assembly concluded with the inspiring words of the principal. She emphasized on the need to take care of our natural resources for the sustainability of the planet in future.

Our march, in our Quest for learning and, "To Greater Height", continues with full vigour.
