Children's Day

“Children are like buds in a garden and should be carefully and lovingly nurtured, as they are the future of the nation and the citizens of tomorrow.” -  Jawaharlal Nehru

Children are innocent and bring smile to one’s face. One of the most treasured possessions on earth; children are loved by one and all. Thus, Children’s Day is celebrated to commemorate the healthy growth and happiness of children.

As the nation celebrates the birth anniversary of our first Prime Minister, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru and his love for children in the form of Children’s Day, a Special Assembly was held at Samsara-The World Academy which was conducted by the Teachers.

The day began with chanting of shlokas and a prayer to seek the blessings of Almighty. Various activities were organised by the teachers to amuse and entertain the children on the occasion. Our music teacher along with the teachers held everyone captive with a melodious rendition of a parody.

The show stopper was an energetic and rhythmic dance performance by Ram Sir, our Dance teacher.

Capt. Praveen Roy, the Principal wished all the children happiness and added that they are the ‘Nation Builders’ as the future of the nation is vested in them. She expressed her hope that they would lead the nation successfully to its growth and prosperity, assuring them that they are loved and valued by all.
