A workshop on the theme 'Mensuration Health and Hygiene' was organized by Samsara The World Academy on 9th February 2023. Dr. Shikha Joshi, a renowned gynecologist, from Kailash Hospital, Greater Noida was invited to the school to conduct a workshop for the girls of Grades VI-VIII.
In her address, she guided that girls need to maintain good menstrual hygiene to uphold their health and dignity.
During the workshop, the students were told about the science behind menstruation and the myths surrounding it. The girls were also taught basic hygiene that should be maintained during periods. It helped in sensitizing them to various complications arising out of a lack of menstrual hygiene. In the end, a question-answer session also proceeded to solve their queries.
