NEP 2020 speaks of technology as a tool for assisting teachers, bridging the language gap between teachers and students, building digital libraries, popularizing language learning, and ensuring greater educational access.
In keeping this spirit alive, CBSE in partnership with Google India organized a training on ‘Be Internet Awesome : a program dedicated to safeguarding learners and facilitators alike, while exploring the online world.
So, the GK topic of October month was 'Safeguards for the Internet ' where the class teachers in their HRT lessons explained to them to be Internet Awesome.
The students were set to make a smart decision, to track the fundamental of digital citizenship and safety so that they can explore online work with safety & assurance.
After the successful sessions, thereafter, they filled out the assessment forms and were certified as 'The Internet Awesome'.
This program empowered the students by educating them and providing them with the right tools and information for their online safety. It was also to ensure that parents and students have the right tools that they need to explore the internet confidently.
