Guru Nanak Jayanti commemorates the birthday of Guru Nanak Dev, the first Sikh guru and the founder of Sikhism. Guru Nanak Jayanti is also known as Gurpurab. Guru Nanak Dev is regarded as a spiritual teacher who founded Sikhism in the 15th century.
Samsara - The World Academy celebrated Guru Nanak Jayanti on 3 November 2022. The students of grade VII commenced the assembly. The day began with prayer, thought of the day, and news headlines.
The students delivered a Speech where they explained the importance of celebrating this day and also narrated the spiritual teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. In the end, Shabad was recited by the students which mesmerized the atmosphere during the assembly.
Our Respected Principal Capt. Praveen Roy shared her thoughts on the auspicious occasion and urged the students to follow the path of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
The assembly concluded on a happy note with festival spirit and excitement amongst the students.
