It is a moment of immense pride that Samsarians secured 1st position in "A Fashion Upcycling Contest - Celebrating Sustainability" organised by Ursuline Convent School, on 28th August 2023. More than 20 renowned Schools from Greater Noida and NCR participated in this Inter-School Attire Spectra Competition.

The participants were tasked with creating fashion pieces using waste materials such as discarded fabrics, plastics, paper, and other recycled materials.

Gargi, a student of class VIII B, prepared an elegant dress made from repurposed old fabrics to avant-garde pieces created with recycled plastic and newspapers with the help of her mentor Ms. Shalini Agnihotri. Her dress highlighted the theme of G-20: A Global Collaboration and Progress.

Capt. Praveen Roy, the Principal, congratulated the winner and her mentor and felicitated her with a certificate and trophy in the morning assembly.
